Regional Management
Scott is the founder and CEO of The Spartan Management Group. Calling himself “a young man with nominal skills” Scott built three homes in Las Vegas while putting himself through college. In 2012, following a number of years as a General Manager in the uniform and plumbing industries, he purchased Jim Dandy Sewer and Plumbing in the Seattle area. His philosophy, “Do the right thing” treating all people as though they are your direct customer, helped him with great success. Over the next 10 years, multiple businesses have been added across the United States with more than 275 employees with great career opportunities.
A quote often heard from Scott is, “When you are in the service of your fellow beings, you are only in the service of your God.” This permeates his life and work, resulting in a great team of dedicated, driven, and motivated individuals working together.
On a personal note, Scott has a great passion for golf and loves the internal challenge of positive discontentment, striving to eliminate that one extra stroke even in his best round.
KC started working for his dad when he was 16 when he closed on his first business in Seattle in 2012. While in school, he worked Summers helping plumbers and being on the excavation crew. When he graduated college in 2017, he started his management career by running our call center. Other positions KC has held in the company include, HVAC helper, Dispatcher, HVAC & plumbing salesman, operations manager, GM and now VP. KC's biggest function in the company is being a support for the GMs in order to help them succeed. He also holds his Master Mechanical License.
Being one of the longest tenured employees and having an obvious special connection to ownership, KC can help in any facet of the business. He has no issue helping in the field and enjoys riding with techs whenever he gets a chance. He enjoys taking on new challenges and is typically at the forefront of any new venture the business takes.
KC enjoys playing basketball, golf, running and country swing dancing on the weekends.
Marc joined the company in 2023 as the Chief Financial Officer, in Colorado Springs. He has served in roles focused on public accounting, tax preparation, financial analysis, risk management and operations and quality management. His educational background includes a B.S. in Finance (Colorado Technical University), B.S. in Biochemistry (Calvin University) and a M.S. in Accounting (Regis University). He has an active Colorado CPA license and is member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).
He and his wife have four children, 2 in elementary school and 2 attending Calvin University. He and his family love to take road trips, hike, and play games. He enjoys reading science fiction novels, investing, and cooking.
Interesting Fact: He has not always been an accountant. His career started as a Research & Development Polymer Chemist.
Jeff got into the plumbing services industry in June of 1998 with Roto-Rooter as the GM of the Denver market. Jeff and his team won four Branch-Of-The-Year awards during his 18 years at Roto-Rooter. They also won multiple other awards for commercial sales, highest profit, employee retention, highest sales growth, etc. Jeff came to Affordable Services Corp in January of 2018. He started as the GM of the COS market. Jeff has taken on a few different roles with the company in his 4.5 years here. He took the role of Regional Commercial Sales Manager from January of 2020 to May 2021. He managed the Call Center May 2021 to April 2022. Jeff is now the Regional Manager for the company.
Jeff loves to play golf with his friends and co-workers. He and his wife enjoy time with their 3 grown boys, daughter-in-law, and granddaughter.
Peter joined Spartan Management Group as the Call Center Manager in April 2022, bringing with him a decade of high-level experience in real estate sales and marketing. His professional journey is anchored by a strong academic foundation, having earned a degree in economics from the University of Iowa. This unique blend of hands-on industry expertise and formal economic training allows Peter to navigate the complexities of client relations with a sophisticated, business-oriented perspective that understands both market trends and human behavior.
In his current role, Peter applies an intensely analytical lens to the world of customer service, transforming standard support into a strategic asset for the firm. He is dedicated to optimizing every touchpoint, ensuring that each client interaction is treated as an opportunity to drive value and strengthen long-term relationships. By leveraging data-driven insights and his extensive sales background, Peter ensures that the call center operates not just as a service hub, but as a critical driver of Spartan Management Group’s continued growth and excellence.
Ryan brings a high level of professional rigor to the team, drawing on his extensive background in the Financial Services industry. Most recently, he served as a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) in the Cincinnati, Ohio area, a role that required a deep commitment to detail, ethics, and long-term client strategy. In 2016, when the opportunity arose to relocate his family closer to home, Ryan made the easy decision to bring his expertise to Cheyenne. His transition has allowed him to blend his sophisticated financial background with a leadership style that is both personable and highly effective.
At the core of Ryan’s work is a profound passion for customer service and a genuine enjoyment of the collaborative environment within his Cheyenne team. He operates under the belief that a customer crisis is not a setback, but rather a unique opportunity to gain a customer for life by providing calm, expert guidance when it is needed most. When he is away from the office, Ryan prioritizes quality time with his family. You can frequently find him cheering from the sidelines at his son’s soccer matches, enjoying the outdoors with his loved ones, or spending a quiet afternoon on the golf course.
Monty is a seasoned veteran of the plumbing industry, with a career spanning over four decades since his start in 1978. His commitment to technical mastery is evident through his progression of professional credentials, earning his Journeyman Plumbing License in 1984 and achieving the prestigious rank of Master Plumber in 2000. Most recently, he expanded his professional reach by attaining his Florida plumbing license in March 2022. This extensive technical foundation serves as the backbone of his leadership, ensuring that every project meets the highest standards of safety and craftsmanship.
Beyond his technical skills, Monty is a proven entrepreneur and business leader. In 2002, he founded Superior Services, where his vision and dedication grew the firm into one of the largest plumbing, heating, and air conditioning companies in the region. Following the successful sale of the company in 2020, Monty chose to stay on as General Manager, providing the continuity and strategic oversight that only a founder can offer. Outside of his professional life, Monty is a devoted family man. He is married with two grown daughters and finds his greatest joy in his four grandchildren, ranging in age from a newborn to 16 years old.
